The topic for the August meeting will be GnuCash - an open source, free software product that competes with Quicken and other financial software.
GnuCash runs on Windows, Mac and Linux and has a very complete tutorial guide to make it pretty easy to use. Of course, some standard bookkeeping knowledge is important, too.
The Clinic meeting will be Saturday, Aug 27 at 10AM.
PS. Also, I am looking for people who own iPads or other "Pad" devices (even Netbooks) that would like to help with a showdown presentation comparing as many of the models as we can find.
